Classically trained, Linda enjoys singing jazz standards, country classics and a bit of pop added to the mix. Her clear voice and vibrant performance technique brings a bit of fun and a touch of class to any event.

Linda sings regularly with 4 groups-"Linda Andersen and Friends", the "Loudoun Jazz Ensemble", "The Pop Chicks" and a newly formed Jazz Duo!

Linda Andersen and Friends is a 6 piece jazz band made up from the DC area’s finest musicians, the band includes- David Jaynes (piano), Allan Bentkofsky (bass), Michael Hale (drums), Steve Andersen (saxophone) and Jeff Bishop (guitar). We play a fun mix of jazz standards and pop favorites. The band can also be “pared down” to suit more intimate events depending on your needs. We have been enjoying performing at private and public events in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Events range from weddings, wineries, corporate events and shows at country clubs and restaurants.

Loudoun Jazz Ensemble
Linda is also the featured vocalist for an 18 piece big band – The Loudoun Jazz Ensemble. Linda has been performing with LJE for over 8 years and has had the pleasure of performing in some wonderful venues and DC landmarks including: Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum, The National Cathedral, The National Portrait Gallery, the National Building Museum and the Congressional Country Club.
